Scott Ludwig is a visual artist and educator from the USA, now based in Maastricht, the Netherlands, where he founded Terra Firma Press. Before this, he was a Professor and Printmaking Director at Appalachian State University in North Carolina. He holds an MFA in Printmaking from Ohio University and a BA in Studio Art from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.

His wife, Sanny Visser, is Dutch and helps with communication, programming, and hosting artists at Terra Firma Press. She loves hospitality and travel, making sure visitors enjoy great food and cultural experiences. They have two boys, ages 9 and 6.
